Advanced Placement, With Direction
Students follow Blair Academy’s full graduation program and add an AP course plan beginning in Grade 9. Each plan considers prerequisites, academic performance, workload, and the school’s published AP catalog.
An AP course may replace the corresponding standard course when it fits the student’s graduation plan. The school reviews each Rocket Track plan every semester and adjusts the course load when appropriate.

What Students Receive
AP Exams
To receive an official College Board AP Exam score, students must register for and take the AP Exam in person at an authorized school or test center. Blair Academy will offer on-site AP exams for the 2027–28 school year. Students may also register to test at another authorized location.
AP exam fees and third-party testing costs are separate from tuition.
Admission & Graduation
Applicants submit recent transcripts and complete English, mathematics, and academic-readiness assessments. Rocket Track students must fulfill all school diploma requirements. AP course enrollment, AP exam scores, and participation in the Rocket Track do not guarantee college admission.
